Low Budget Ideas
This music video was from Hurtwood House to the song 'Crazy in Love' I feel this they have made a highly successful video that goes well with the song and genre. The main colour scheme used is a deep and warm red, connoting love and romance which the song is based on. They have used appropriate lighting, the dim spot lights focused on the performers give the impression that it is during the night. I very much enjoyed watching their performance; I think a lot of effort was put in, they are quite energetic and their expressions bring a positive vibe to the video. There are 3 costume and location changes, all of which are very different however they all fit into the pop genre and avoid viewer fatigue. They have used various shot types, long shots and mid shots show the three of them performing together and the close ups are for show their individual lip syncing.
This video created by Latymer media, the boys have named their band 'The Fix' and this video is for the song 'Just Got Paid.' The Fix look as if they are a typical boy band, like The Wanted or One Direction. They look stylish and well presented and have and have made a noticeable effort on their appearance. I think they have made the most of their time by finding very effective locations which would be ideal if they were really making a promotional video. The bright lighting in the blacked out room gives across a very star like feel, it looks as if they are professional singers performing. They have learnt the song successfully as their lip syncing is perfect and they have rehearsed and perfected dance moves.
